At the 68th
British Academy Film and Television Awards the Gods and Goddess of the silver screen
appeared with their twinkling companions on the red carpet. The parade of
diamonds and pearls was mesmerizing especially on the stars themselves scorching
the BAFTA awards red carpet. Felicity Jones stunned the show with her black and
purple flower-adorned Dior dress along with diamond and ruby earrings. London’s
Opera House was glorified with stars glittering in their high fashion and fine
jewelry. Julianne Moore, the celebrated actress wore pieces of white gold earrings
encrusted with pear-shaped diamonds. Her diamond earrings were complemented by the
white gold and diamond ring. Moore also won the award of the best actress for
her role in Still Alice.

who won the best supporting actress for her performance in Boyhood also burnt the
red carpet with her eclectic style. She wore cuffs and dream catcher earrings which
suited her style perfectly. Amy Adams turned the heat on with her bejeweled white
Latvin dress paired with diamond ring. She was nominated for her performance in
Big Eyes and Amy exuded glamour through her presence. If Amy spelled glamour, then
Rosamund Pike also looked gorgeous and demure at the same time with Roland Mouret
dress in black along with diamond and emerald earrings and diamond bracelet. In
fact, Rosamund and Felicity along with few others wore colorful stone jewelry making
the red carpet a celebration of fashion.

Scott Thomas, the ever fashionable and chic actress presented the best actor
award to Eddie Redmayne in a vintage Balmain gown and diamond drip earrings. She
was the epitome of fashion, style and elegance on the red carpet of BAFTA. Not
just diamonds and emeralds, pearls also made into the red carpet fashion quite elegantly
at the BAFTA. Pearl especially the earrings have featured beautifully on the red
carpet. Actress Romola Garai appeared in a pastel colored Roksanda outfit with pearl
earrings. She was like a breath of fresh air while Natalie Dormer the actress from
Game of Thrones wore an unconventional combination of Tahitian pearls and
diamonds in black gold ear cuff. DJ Edith Bowman, Charlotte Riley and Kara
Tointon are some other stars from the television and music industry who
appeared in pearls in various capacities. Both conventional and unconventional use
of pearls and diamonds were seen on the red carpet with some colored and some
non-colored stones.
